    Normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm, with a one hour lunch
    Work hours may vary dependent upon tasks and need, but will not exceed 40 hours per week
    Job Specific Details and Tasks:
    • Provide primary administrative support for project scientists and program managers, and serves as effective liaison between project staff and FH Department and Division staff.
    • Apply proven program management principles, and expertise to assist program managers through the various phases of the acquisition cycle to support research studies. The contractor shall assist in the design and utilization of administrative and monitoring support tools as required to perform daily operations associated with establishment, maintenance and oversight of medical modernization projects. The contractor shall assist with monitoring and managing funds execution, program costs, schedule adherence, technical performance of contracted and in house research projects. The contractor shall also assist in maintaining the USAFSAM/FH oversight system for resources and projects and prepare documentation and presentations in support of oversight management (Semi-Annual Reviews, Quarterly and Ad Hoc Status Reports, and Program Management Reviews).
    • Apply knowledge of office management, methods and procedures in producing and maintaining documentation, correspondence, records in regard to matters such as project/program progress and status documentation, budget, finance, property and accounting.
    • Perform identification and assessment of assigned project’s risks / issues and provide recommendations on potential courses of action to mitigate project risks or resolve project issues.
    • When required, prepare/maintain project documents. 
    • Administrative support necessary for the production of all electronic products required for the planning, approval, performance, reporting and close-out of projects (Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. This includes maintaining information in databases that contain specific documents related to projects such as Institutional Review Board (IRB) approvals, contracts, and Purchase Request documents. 
    • Demonstrate capability to capture project related information and data, analyze the information obtained and provide interpretation of the data. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned in support of project operations to include support of the USAFSAM/FH mission. 
    • Contractor employee shall establish, build and maintain a constant and effective working relationship within the division, department, 711HPW, 59th MDW, MAJCOMS, AFMSA/SG5 and other stakeholders as required for coordination, support and changes to the scope of assigned work. 
    • Contractor employee shall support planning and performing project meetings and participate in meetings to include capturing and tracking action items, and preparing presentations.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education:  Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine (STEMM) field
    Certification: PMP desired, but not required
    Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in aeromedical or research-related project management
    Security:  Must be a US Citizen and must be able to pass a government background check
