Job Specific Duties:
• Ensure KACH contract paramedics possess current, up-to-date licensure, trainings and certifications in accordance with 5.2.6.2 and exhibit 5.
• Comply with schedule managment, to include fielding any callouts, finding replacements and coordinate with the on-site supervisors for coverage in accordance with the schedule requirements. Ensures completion of contractor HCW’s DMHRSi in accordance with government suspense dates.
• Complete peer review Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC) of all Paramedic patient care records generated by EMS personnel due on the 10th of every month for the previous month of evaluation
• Oversee and ensure compliance with continuing educational needs of the paramedics.
• The Lead Paramedic Program Manager shall work on-site no less than 3 (three) 12-hour shift per week and and is expected to complete the majority of these duties during the shift work. Hours are subject to change based off of mission requirement/patient demands.
• Provides feedback, recommendations and coordination with ED Leadership and external stakeholders regrading EMS base plan, MASCAL response coordination, as well as any other pre-hospital responses.
• Assists ED Leadership with instructing and accomplishing annual training requirements of all contracted HCWs to include but not limited to in-services, call audit sessions and annual competencies.
