Work Schedule:
Normal duty hours are Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:30am and 4:30pm. Possiblity of an evening shift 4pm to 12am.
On Call: M-F - from 4:30pm - 7:30am and weekend 24hr on call.

Other significant facts pertaining to the position:
* Education: Graduation from a radiologic technologist-training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiological Education (JCERT). Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) An associate’s degree or higher in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography field highly desired.
* Experience: Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in mammography, to include performing tomography mammograms or required performance of 200 exams with the last two (2) years. Some biopsy experience required.
* Licensure/Registration: Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
* Life Support Certification: Possess and maintain a current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
* Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance. This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employee to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
