Salary Range $80K -100K

 

The salary range for this position is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, qualifications, skill level, and location. The final salary offer will fall within this range and will be commensurate with the candidate’s background and the specific demands of the role.

Responsibilities

The Scrum Master will provide program level technical management analysis support that includes internal and external team engagements; monitoring and risk mitigation through DHA DAD IO/J6 Division activities; and infrastructure planning, for the successful advancement of AFMS requirements for EHR modernization and the AF/SG mission, as well as the support of Clinical Information Systems by accomplishing the following tasks in direct support of AFMS.

 

The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with customer and cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Monitor technical hardware and network requirement lists, milestones, and calendar activity for the DAF’s 76 MTFs. Manage and distribute information for these activities to the DAF CHIO and AFMEDCOM leadership.
  • Manage team calendars, meetings and presentation preparations via Microsoft Teams and Office products.
  • Work with the primary divisions executing programs/applications/workflows in the use, maintenance, and standardization of internally developed products and systems.
  • Assist in briefing directorate leadership on project initiatives and associated management progress, issues, and challenges in development, administration, and optimize of the current and future knowledge management systems.
  • Independently apply knowledge and expertise to various project and program initiatives; investigate, analyze, plan, design, implement, or evaluate solutions for the project efforts as it directly impacts the AFMS.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and four (4) years of experience in the Healthcare domain, or Business-related area with six years of experience related to information technology, budgeting, strategic planning, and risk management.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing small scale (<10 sites) IT projects. A Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) certification can be substituted for two (2) of the three (3) years.
  • Certifications required: Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certifications preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience with the following military specific systems is preferred: AFPortal, Health.mil, D2D.insights.health.mil, TMT, Service Now, and Knowledge Exchange.

             

Work Authorization Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US and be able to obtain a Confidential (tier 1) clearance
